Washington, D.C. (April 6, 2007) - American University's Washington College of Law and School of Communication will present a discussion on the implications of copyright law for makers of participatory media and the platforms on which it is displayed. "User-Generated Content: The Copyright Conundrum" will be held from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 10, in Room 603 of the Washington College of Law, 4801 Massachusetts Ave., NW. Reps from Verizon, NBC, Microsoft and others will discuss strategies to avoid or minimize risk of copyright liability.
