This month, a new collection of essays exploring the intersection of social justice studies and critical media scholarship is out from Palgrave: Media and Social Justice.
Edited by Sue Curry Jansen, Jefferson Pooley and Lora Taub-Pervizpour of Muhlenberg College, the book is designed, writes Jansen, to spark a "long overdue conversation" between these two disciplines. It features an updated excerpt from CSM's Public Media 2.0 report in the "Frameworks" section—as well as sections exploring collaboration, power struggles and battles for media justice.
